AFM® (Activated Filter Media) is a bio-resistant filtration material made out of brown and green glass.

That means:

  • No clusters or channelling and therefore continuous good filtration performance over many years
  • Less problems with Legionella- , Pseudomonas or cryptosporidium
  • Less chlorine smell, because 50% less Trichloramine and 50% less THM's (Trihalogenmethane) are created

 

Why is AFM® a Unique Glass Filter Media?

Thanks to the high negative charge AFM® also filtrates electrostatically and reaches a filtration sharpness of up to 4 micron at low filtration speeds.
