Biomechamical tests results carried out by the Applied Hydrodynamics Institute (INHA) in July 2003:

- the lane rope reduces waves in inner competition lanes by 80%. As a result, the wave caused by a swimmer when moving is practically absorbed, without causing noticeable reflection effects.

- the lane rope absorb up to 50% more waves than conventional ones. Each lane of the swimming pool is affected as little as possible by activity in the adjacent lane.

These are supplied assembled with floats, 6 mm stainless steel cable, tensor, shock absorber and hook. Floats with inner turbine mechanism, with outer Ø of 148 mm in keeping with International Swimming Federation regulations (FINA).
